It's Murphy's law that if we plan ahead for our lives to go awry they usually won't, but the moment we turn a blind eye, everything is pretty much sure to go off the rails.  Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) receives more than a million pet health insurance claims each year. And while most of these claims are for ho-hum conditions and routine pet care, every now and then a claim comes in that inspires a loud, knee-slapping "Holy cow!" and, yes, an award.
